Which ViewLux Models This Applies To

ViewLux makes several window lines, and parts do not swap freely between them. The two you’ll see most often in Tampa homes are the VL Series (their standard single-hung and horizontal roller) and the VLX Impact Series (rated for wind zones, often specified in coastal and near-coastal neighborhoods like Davis Islands, Bayshore, and Westshore). There’s also the Vista Series on some mid-2000s installs. A balancer or latch from a VL Series will not reliably work in a VLX Impact frame, even if the dimensions look close. Signs Your ViewLux Window Replacement Is Failing

• Sash drops when you raise it. The spring balance system is worn.
